After a relaxing night at the "Belhaven Hotel" we woke up hoping for a better day. The breakfast made us quite happy with the different omelet variations. And already we were on our way again. On the way, we made a small detour over the A6 into the "Lake District National Park". And around 3 pm we arrived in Lytham St. Anne.

At the "Miller & Carter" we stopped for something to eat. The starter was great, but my fish was pretty average to disappointing - especially compared to the evening before. And Richard also found his steak burger only mediocre. Then we both indulged in a dessert because both of us weren't really full. And the Profiteroles glazed with salted caramel were really heavenly.

After dinner, we finally made our way to "The Gaydon Bed & Breakfast", where we were warmly welcomed by the owners. Also our rooms I found totally sweet, but you see the photo. 😉 And also the common room was so affectionately arranged.
After we freshened up, we met with a friend of Richard, and we had an enjoyable and funny evening at the "Lord Derby - Flaming Grill".
